David Crosby parted company with Frech UK and turned to PMS for a reference.
We can do better than that we said and immediately offered David a job as process engineer - a position we had recently identified as necessary to free up time for the development of Andy Millard, Production Manager. The complex nature of our diecasting cells requires specialist skills to keep things going when faults occur and for PMS to continue to grow we need highly trained engineers.
Gordon Panter said, “they don’t come better than David so get him onboard asap”
He starts with us on 1st September 2009.
Not only is David a service engineer for the range of Frech Machines he is also a trainer for the diecasting production programming so his process knowledge is invaluable and can be passed to all our operators on a daily basis.
David’s main role at PMS is to lead the strategic steering group for each work cell to improve efficiencies making the changeover process as smooth as possible. The benefit for our customers is that we have the in-house knowledge and experience to service our machines and repair them if faults occur ensuring maximum diecasting capacity is always available.
Some say David should have continued his amateur dramatics but we knew his destiny was fixing diecasting machines.
