Assa Abloy decided to close their zinc diecasting foundry last month and PMS Diecasting have been successful securing a significant proportion of the zinc diecasting business supplying components to window and door lock systems.
It was recognised that the sophisticated zinc diecasting machines and robotic handling cells would give not only very competitive pricing but a high level of consistent quality. We are delighted to secure this new work at a time when manufacturing orders are declining and competitiion is so fierce.
