How we handle your diecasting enquiry
Prices quoted are either Budget Prices or Firm Prices - If time is of the essence or some details are not currently available we can still prepare a quotation in budget format. Budget prices will be confirmed as Firm when all the required information is available.
Budget Prices
These are generally used to test the viability of manufacturing a part in zinc. Although fairly accurate we do require additional time to confirm all budget prices once the feasibility of manufacturing in zinc has been determined.
What to expect
- Instant e-mail or fax reply to acknowledge receipt
- 24 hours turnaround for tooling and casting prices
- Casting prices are generally very accurate if we have the relevant information - see Quotation Information
- Tooling is a budget estimate which can be confirmed in 2 working days
- Send drawings via e-mail or fax marked URGENT QUOTATION
Once a drawing is received we will prepare a costing based on the information provided. Please ensure your contact details are included as we may have to discuss the project to determine the most effective production method.
Firm Prices
Once a drawing has been finalised we can prepare a costing based on different batch quantities and tooling options.
What to expect
- Instant e-mail or fax reply to acknowledge receipt
- Please ensure all quotation information is included - see Quotation Information
- Toolmakers are selected to quote based on their knowledge of the process and expertise relevant to your project
- 5 working day turnaround for quotation
- Your project will be kept confidential and only discussed with selected toolmakers and our diecasting machine suppliers
- A firm quotation will be sent by e-mail or fax containing prices and terms
