- Full component drawing showing tolerances
- Quantity of castings per annum
- Application of the casting to determine the exact grade of zinc
- If more than one casting the ratio of castings per assembly
- Finish required
- Expected delivery / introduction deadlines
The more information we have, the more accurate our costing will be. We do require certain mandatory information to prepare a costing and this is listed below - please read this information and include when submitting enquiries.
Existing Zinc Diecastings with Current Tooling
Preferred Information
- Sample castings as they are produced off the diecasting machine and castings that are in the finished stage ready to be delivered
- Lastest release drawing of the casting
- Any quality issues with current supplier
- Are all the cavities in use (i.e. not damaged)
- Type of diecasting machine currently manufacturing the casting
- Any special operations being carried out
- Packaging requirements
Required Information
- Sample casting or drawing with casting weight
- Exact grade of zinc currently supplied
- Number of impressions in the tool
- Whether the tooling is a full tool or unit tool
- Casting batch size or castings per annum
- Post casting operations and finish required
