The Diecasting Society
PMS Diecasting is a proud member of ‘The Diecasting Society’.
“Collaboration and sharing knowledge is a key benefit to all the members helping to bring back diecasting business which is currently being made off shore. We are seeing many projects being brought back to the UK as costs are steadily rising overseas and a little problem can become a huge problem in a very short period of time. Customers’ demands for introducing new products quickly, holding few items in stock and improving quality standards are not consistent with out-sourced good overseas”…said Gordon Panter, Managing Director of PMS Diecasting Limited.
Jaguar Land Rover Ltd has recently become a member of the Diecasting Society and the total membership is now 47 companies and 55 individuals.
The Diecasting Society was formed in 1967 and it represents the interests of diecasting companies and suppliers to the industry through the promotion of technology, providing forums for discussion and debate.
It works with further education establishments to better knowledge and push boundaries.
It markets the diecasting process and provides members with a medium through which to promote a healthy business environment.
Coupled to this is a healthy yet balanced social scene, where industrialists share a unique experience of being among friends where others might not see beyond the competition.
